A guide to Centre Place, Melbourne

Another one of my favorite laneways- this location always manages to have something worth photographing. It is a challenging location to shoot at though- busy, dark and narrow- but none the less- a great spot for a bit of people watching. Check out the guide here.

St Kilda Pier and Historic Kiosk

Andrew Brown has kindly submitted another great guide, this time to the iconic St Kilda Pier and Kiosk. The St Kilda area is well worth the visit, especially during summer. With it's laid back cafe culture and nightspots, set right against the beach and surrounded by palm trees it really is a great place to spend the weekend. Of note too, each Sunday there is a open air market run here and there are frequent music festivals held in the area, most notably "St Kilda Fest"-one of the biggest open air parties of the year and a great time for street photography. Sze has submitted a great guide to Southbank, identifying several key spots that will allow you to capture stunning photographs of the cityscape at night. Click here to check it out. This area really is a great area for street photographers, with the city vistas, the art features and the regular events that occur on this side of the Yarra river. Well worth the visit.

Great work Sze!
